Three flutes give added support in the cut for an accurate hole location and exceptional surface finish. A 150º point angle helps eliminate exit burrs in many applications and the three flute construction is an advantage when breaking thru on angled exit surfaces. The GS200 G three-flute carbide drill is specifically designed for aluminum and cast iron and can be used in most steel applications. The wide open flute design and thin land width allow for maximum chip evacuation while reducing sidewall rubbing. The 130º helical style point provides excellent self-centering characteristics and maximum machining efficiency.
